ELKHART -- Doris M. (Rusk) Eastham, 76, of Elkhart, died at 4:05 p.m. Sunday (March 1, 2009) in Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born Oct. 30, 1932, in Jasper to Forest and Flossie (Wood) Rusk.

Ms. Eastham is survived by one brother, Warren Rusk.

She retired in 1992 from Shelter Components as a manager of accounts payable and receivable; she also worked as a computer programer. A 1950 graduate of Goshen High School, Ms. Eastham was known for her dedication and volunteer work with ADEC, Meals on Wheels and New Hope United Methodist Church, which she attended.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Milford Cemetery. The Rev. Lee Campbell of New Hope United Methodist Church will officiate.
