Obituary
She was born May 6, 1938, in Goshen, to Arthur and Treva (Kern) Vincent. On Sept. 5, 1960, she married James Barnett. He died April 2, 1995.
She is survived by three sons, James H. (Sherry) Barnett Jr. and Roy D. (Michele) Barnett, both of Elkhart, and Henry L. (Beverly) Barnett of Osceola; two daughters, Juanita M. Ziegert of Denver, Colo., and Sharon L. (Greg) Miller of Syracuse; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one sister, Priscilla S. (Charles) Mapes of Elkhart.
She was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Barnett; one brother, Vernon Vincent; and one sister, Vyetta Ulery.
Friends may call one hour prior to the 11:30 a.m. Thursday funeral service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. The Rev. Dr. William Hemmig of St. Paul's United Methodist Church will officiate. Cremation will follow services. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen, at a later date.
Mrs. Barnett was a homemaker.
