Donna Mae (Soderbloom) Townsend, 69, of Bristol, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born on February 24, 1954, in Iron River, MI, to the late Carl and Florence (Flaschberger) Soderbloom.

Donna is survived by her loving daughter, Brandie (Mitch Majewski) Hurd; grandchildren, Gregory (Jade Burkholder) Hurd, Tyghten Majewski, and Jimmie, Aubree, and Eastayn O'Dell; great grandchild, Brantlee Hurd; sister, Sharon (Bob) Gagnea; beloved dog, Babygirl; and a loving host of extended family, friends, and acquaintances.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, John Townsend; former spouse and father to her daughter, Jimmie Hurd; parents; and brothers, Gary, Donnie, and John Soderbloom.

In accordance with Donna's wishes, cremation has been chosen and no services have been planned at this time. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart has been assisting the family with arrangements.

Donna worked in quality control for the late Phillips Products for many years.

In her spare time, Donna enjoyed creating many arts and crafts projects, visiting the casino, and spending time playing games on her computer. Most importantly, she was passionate about spending time with her daughter and grandchildren, loving every one of them dearly.

Donna will best be remembered as an honest, loving, and caring soul who was not afraid to speak her mind. She, along with all the love and joy she shared, will be dearly missed by those whose hearts she touched throughout her life.
