Donella "Donna" M. Johnson, 77, of Elkhart, passed away on June 11, 2025, at Elkhart Meadows Nursing Home. She was born on May 6, 1948, in Chicago to the late Issac and Deloris (Anderson) Johnson.

Donna was a high school graduate and spent much of her career working as a bookkeeper.

She was extremely proud of her Chicago roots and was known for her pleasant nature and kindness. During her time at Elkhart Meadows, she formed close friendships with many of the nurses and fellow residents. Donna enjoyed life's simple pleasures—watching birds at the feeder outside her window and savoring a good meal, with ribs being her favorite.

In accordance with her wishes, Donna will be laid to rest at Little Pine Cemetery at a later date.
