Donald W. Wagner, 77, of Elkhart passed away at his residence on Friday, Dec. 3, 2021.

Don was born on Sept. 11, 1944, in Elkhart to Gerald and Erma (Routsong) Wagner. On Feb. 14, 1998, he married Sharon Imus who preceded him in death.

Don was a 1963 graduate of Elkhart High School before proudly serving our great nation in the U.S. Air Force from 1963-1969. He then moved into a career in the tool and die industry in which he worked for North Side Tool & Engineering and the Vincent Bach Corporation.

Survivors include his two sons Donald A. (Lisa) Wagner and Christopher (Charlotte) Wagner, his brother Dan Wagner and sister Diane Barth, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, preceding Don in death were his brother Larry Wagner Sr. and sister Joan Grabill.

Don was an avid animal lover, rescuing many cats and kittens, and had a genuine heart for animals. He and Sharon also loved to square dance and were members of a square dancing group.
