Donald "Don" E. Davis, 89, of Goshen, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Miller's Merry Manor of Wakarusa.

Don was born on January 9, 1933 in Richland Twp., Indiana to the late Thomas and Marie (Whiteman) Davis. He was married to the love of his life, Elizabeth "Betty" (Jensen) Davis on January 10, 1953 in Pierceton, IN.

Don is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Don is survived by his wife of almost 70 years, Betty; children, Terry (Deb) Davis of Elkhart, Bob (Sandy) Davis of Avilla, IN; Ray Davis of Bristol, IN and Kathy (Ervin) Haven of Goshen; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Don honorably served his country in the U.S. Army and U.S. National Guard.  He was a truck driver and laborer for Martin's Feed Co. in New Paris, IN. Don took pride in working in his yard. Often times, he enjoyed tinkering around the house. Don was witty and a fun-loving jokester. You could count on Don to lend a helping hand to anyone.

Don was a dedicated, hardworking husband, father and family man. He will be greatly missed.

There will be a private celebration of life service for Don at a later date. Per his request, Don will be cremated. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the family.
