Dolly Jane Magyar, 87, of Bristol, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025 at Center for Hospice Care Esther's House.

Dolly was born in Athens, AL on November 4, 1937 to the late, James Edward McGlocklin and Hattie Lou (Perr) McGlocklin. Dolly married the love of her life, James "Jim" Edgar Magyar on June 21, 1959 in Elkhart. He passed away on March 10, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Jim Magyar and brothers, Charles and James McGlocklin.

Dolly is survived by her children, James Nick Magyar of Union, MI, Pamela L. Magyar of Montana, and Dan R. (Tammy) Magyar of Bristol, IN; grandchildren, Amanda (Dan) Schrock and Christopher (Danielle) Magyar; great grandchildren, Mason, Cora, Milo and Lucas.

Dolly was employed at Blessing in Elkhart for many years. She enjoyed sewing, canning and camping. Dolly also enjoyed playing card games and watching the birds outside.

She could be found trying her luck on the penny slots at the casino.

Most of all, Dolly was a dedicated homemaker who dedicated herself to her family's well being with love and devotion.

She was a dependable, sweet and loving lady who would do anything for the people she loved.

A Funeral Service for Dolly will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, June 2, 2025 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 with Rev. Neal Davis officiating.

Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the start of the service from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home.

Burial and graveside service will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Bristol.
