Dollie Mae Weston, 65, of Elkhart, passed away to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Elkhart on November 12, 1958, to the late Willie Weston and Barbara Parks.

Dollie is also preceded in death by her sister, Willie Mae Weston. She is survived by her sister, Linda Parks and a host of many nieces and nephews who were like her children.

Cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be given to the Weston family directly to help alleviate funeral expenses.

Dollie was a kind and loving woman who always put her family first before anything else. She was the glue that held her family together. If you ever came over to visit, Dollie would do everything she could to make you feel comfortable, welcome, and taken care of. She was a phenomenal cook who could make the best greens, dressing, potato salad, and fried fish and chicken around. Dollie felt most united with her family when she could have everyone together and make the best meals for barbecues and cookouts. She will be dearly missed by all her loving family and friends.
