She was born Aug. 24, 1949, in Elkhart to Fred and Marietta (Dispennett) VanDiepenbos. She married Raymond Kenison on March 3, 1978, in Elkhart. He died Dec. 10, 2001, in Elkhart.

She is survived by one son, George F. VanDiepenbos of Elkhart; a sister, Michelle Wakeman of Elkhart; and her father, Fred VanDiepenbos of Elkhart.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marietta.

There will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Kenison formerly worked as a certified nursing assistant and for several years in the RV industry.
