Mrs. Diane L. McFall, 69, of Elkhart, passed away at the Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart on Saturday, June 24, 2017.

She was born in Elkhart on March 12, 1948 to the late Virginia Spencer and later married Ronald R. McFall in 1982 in Elkhart. He survives at home.

Also surviving are children Nick (Cindy) Robinson and James, John, Misha and Michelle McFall, 10 grand and 2 great grandchildren.

In accordance with Diane's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering of friends and family will be held at Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 5-7 pm

Diane was president of Bestway Foam of Elkhart, but she was best known for her work with the Elkhart City Parks Department. She designed the "heart" on the north side of the Benham Street viaduct; she oversaw the planting of the downtown flowers, supervised the road crews, and managed the city's greenhouse. Memorials can go to the American Cancer Society.
