Diane C. Foster ELKHART — Diane C. Foster, 62, of Elkhart, passed away at Elkhart General Hospital on Wednesday, Jan. 22, following a sudden illness.
She was born in Chicago on Oct. 5, 1951, to the late Thomas and Vivian (Warner) Boze.
On Aug. 5, 1970, she married Michael G. Foster in Mammoth, W.Va. He survives at home.
Also surviving is her son, Michael (April) Foster of Bowling Green, Mo.; daughter Christine Foster Weidman of Elkhart; brothers George Boze of Michigan, Michael Boze of Florida and James Boze of Washington; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Preceding Diane in death was a brother, Thomas Boze.
In accordance with the family's wishes cremation has taken place.
A memorial celebration of Diane's life will be at Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart with visitation from noon to 1 p.m. followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31. Frankie Phillips, Diane's nephew, will officiate. Burial will follow services in Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart.
Although Diane was a homemaker, she was very active as an adult leader with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America for nearly 20 years. She was also an avid bowler in her younger years.
