BRISTOL: Diana E. (Vargo) Rohrer, 78, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, March 24, 2025 at her residence. Diana was born on October 3, 1946, in Elkhart to Nichlos S. and Freda J. (Detwiler) Vargo. On June 28, 1969 she married Daniel R. "Dan" Rohrer in Elkhart. Dan died October 23, 2012.

Surviving are three children, Danielle R. Garcia of Goshen, IN Darren D. Rohrer of Auburn, IN and Dawn (Chris) Cubbernuss of Bristol, IN, five grandchildren Aurelio Guzman, Isabela Rohrer, Brandon Rohrer, Zachary Rohrer, and Hadley Cubbernuss. In addition to her parents and husband, three sisters Janealene Griewank, Lana Vargo and Verna Vargo and a granddaughter Madelynn Cubbernuss preceded her in death.

Diana was a 1964 graduate of Concord High School. After high school she got her degree of Cosmetology from Grand Rapids, MI. As well as a cosmetologist, Diana was also co-owner with her husband of Dan's Lawn Service for many years. She also worked as a cook for Michel's Italian Restaurant, for over 20 years. She was a longtime member of Creekside Church of the Brethren in Goshen.

Diana was also a member of the Elkhart County Extension Homemakers, the Four Seasons, for 55 years, where she enjoyed fellowship, crafts, and volunteering. Diana was a very hard worker and would help anyone in need. She enjoyed reading, word search puzzles, crafting, and gardening, especially flowers. Most of all, Diana's family and grandkids was the center of her life.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 11am-12pm for visitation, followed by a service on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Creekside Church of the Brethren, 60455 CR 113, Elkhart, IN. Pastor Rosanna McFadden will officiate. Per her wish's cremation was chosen with burial at Prairie Street Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Creekside Church of the Brethren, Center for Hospice or American Cancer Society.
