Diana L. Brubaker, 73, of Bristol, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born in Goshen on April 13, 1950, to the late Orvan and Jean M. (Rummel) Mabie.

Diana is also preceded in death by her son, Craig Brubaker and husband of 42 years, Henry C. Brubaker Jr. She is survived by her children, Yolanda (David) Eli of Elkhart and Jared B. (Jennifer) Brubaker; grandchildren, David and Alli Eli and Caleb and Casey Brubaker; and brothers, Orvan Mabie Jr and Allen Mabie.

In accordance with Diana's wishes, cremation was chosen and will take place at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart. She will be laid to rest with her husband, Henry, and son, Craig, at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Bristol.

Diana was a quiet and reserved woman who was an avid reader in her spare time. She worked for various manufacturing companies, most notably Lozier Store Fixtures in Middlebury where she retired after 12 years. At times, Diana enjoyed a game of Euchre but she was most often found at home where she enjoyed retirement and watched her various cooking shows.
