CAPE CORAL, Fla. — Dian M. Mosier, 67, of Cape Coral and formerly of Elkhart, Ind., passed away at 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral.
She was born in Sturgis, Mich., on Oct. 3, 1944, to the late Delbert and Marjorie (Powell) Eby. Also preceding her in death were a sister, Marlene Eby, and a brother, Barton Eby. She later married Loren E. Mosier in 1964 in Jones, Mich. He survives at home.
Also surviving are two daughters, Kelly R. (Pete) Willis of Michigan City, Ind., and Marcee L. (Christopher "Adam") Gorce of Jones, and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at New Testament Bible Church, 29718 C.R. 18, Elkhart, where the service will follow at 5 p.m. Pastors Shirley Gregg and Shirley Fox will officiate. In accordance to Dian's wishes, cremation will then take place. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart is assisting the family with arrangements.
Dian served on the City of Elkhart's Civil Defense and Emergency Management Services for more than 10 years, retiring in 1993. Memorials may be given to Gideons International.
