ELKHART — Dennis Lee "Bubba" Kilian, 69, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday, May 14, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born July 18, 1944, in Plymouth to the late Charles and Lillian (Shaw) Kilian.

He married Linda L. (Skagerberg) in 2005.
Surviving are his wife; sons Lonnie (Michele) Kilian and Andy (Beth) Kindig; daughter Brenda (Steve Webb) Meguire; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers Terry, Scott, Dave and Ralph Kilian; and sisters Pam Kilian, Becky Ellis and Dawn Davis.
A daughter, Kathy L. Hochstetler, preceded him in death.
Bubba drove for Ace Cab in Elkhart and raced for many years in the '80s with his wife, Linda, at the New Paris and Mottville speedways in car numbers 46, 29 and 211. He also worked at the New Paris Speedway and was the equipment manager and tow truck driver after the '80s.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial celebration of his life will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at New Paris Speedway, where a time of gathering with his family will be from 3 to 7 p.m.
