Dennis Kratzer, 74, of Elkhart, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Brickyard Healthcare. He was born on July 24,1950 in Elkhart, IN to the late Homer D. and Vernajean M. (Schmidt) Kratzer.

He was cremated at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. in Elkhart, IN and will be laid to rest with his father, Homer Kratzer, at Rice Cemetery.

Dennis worked as a clerk for the local CVS and enjoyed walking to work. Those who knew Dennis would tell you that he enjoyed going on long walks around town and would often spend most of his time at the local Library.
