ELKHART — Dennis J. Emmans, 67, of Elkhart, passed away at Elkhart General Hospital at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, after an extended illness.
He was born in Elkhart on June 6, 1945, to the late Robert L. and Frances G. (Jolliff) Emmans.
Surviving is his sister, Barbara (Robert "Bob") Nadon of Elkhart.
A memorial service for Dennis will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 405 W. Beardsley Ave., Elkhart. The Rev. Dr. William Hemmig will officiate.
Cremation has taken place. Burial will be at Osceola Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements have been placed under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.
Dennis was the knife salesman at the old Sportsman's Enterprise Store on Elkhart's central north side.
