Obituary
ELKHART -- Dennis Lee "Denny" Bowser, 70, of Elkhart, passed away at his home Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011.
He was born Oct. 20, 1940, in Elkhart to the late Dwight B. and Vesta M. (Niccum) Bowser Sr.
Surviving are three stepchildren, Mike Sprong of Iowa, Mark Sprong of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Michelle Pierce of New Jersey; a brother, Dwight B. (Linda M.) Bowser Jr. of Elkhart; and friends Steve Obert of Goshen and Susan Davis of Elkhart.
Graveside military honors will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at the cremation towers in the veteran's section of Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart. The U.S. Army Funeral Honor Guard and Elkhart DAV 19 will render the honors. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart is assisting the family with arrangements.
Denny spent more than 25 years with Bayer Corporation in maintenance and as a warehouseman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army
