ELKHART: Demetrio "Mick" Flores Jr., 45, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday morning, October 19, 2019 at his home. He was born on March 4, 1974 in Saginaw, Michigan. He leaves behind three children, Demetrio Flores III, Isabel Duran, Selena Vargas; 4 grandchildren, Miguel Flores, Angelina Zaragoza, Avelina Duran, Rey Flores; his mother Eva Angelina Flores; father Demetrio Flores, Sr.; 4 brothers, Louis (Petra) Bermudez, Ricardo (Dora) Bermudez, Armando (Christina) Bermudez, and Alberto Berlanga; a sister Rosalba Berlanga; also surviving are several nieces and nephews; and his significant other, Magdalena Duran.

Mick as he was known to his family and friends had just started working at Spartan Motors, formerly worked at Utilimaster and in construction. He enjoyed the yearly family reunions, but most of all he enjoyed being with and spending time his children and grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-8 pm Friday, October 25, 2019 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart. In honoring his wishes, cremation was chosen.
