She was born Feb. 23, 1933, in Mishawaka to Ralph A. and Dorothy A. (LaBlanc) Nichols. She married Willard L. Seymore on Dec. 23, 1950, in Elkhart. He died in 2003.

Mrs. Seymore is survived by five daughters, Lisa (Robert) Borders and Cole (Jessie Thrash) Seymore, both of Elkhart, Tammie (James) Shelton of Las Vegas, Robin K. (Don) Lutz of Augres, Mich., and Terry Seymore of California; two sons, Paul (Vicki) Seymore of Elkhart and Steve Seymore of South Bend; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one stepsister, Eleanor McClane of Elkhart; one stepbrother, Ed McClane of Elkhart; and her stepmother, Winnie McClane of Elkhart.

She was preceded in death by two sons, David Alan and Archie Jeffery Seymore; two grandsons, Bryce Seymore and Andrew Borders; and her stepfather, Archie McClane.

Friends may call one hour prior to Wednesday's 7 p.m. funeral service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. The Rev. Greg Serafino of Osceola Grace Brethren Church will officiate. Chastity Campbell will assist with the service with a special reading. Cremation will follow the services, with burial in Prairie Street Cemetery at a later date.

Mrs. Seymore worked at Wood-Tek, Elkhart, for over 25 years until the company became Patrick Industries. She retired in 1996. She liked all kinds of animals, expecially cats, playing cards, and working puzzles. She enjoyed music and professional wrestling.
