ELKHART — Delora J. "Dee Dee" Miller, 61, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday morning, Aug. 5, in her home.
She was born March 20, 1954, in Middletown, Ohio, to Harold Banks and Donna (Alexander) Fordyce.
Surviving are her sister, Rickii (William) Rose of Goshen; sister-in-law Lori Strang of Elkhart; best friend Jami Baker of Elkhart; two nieces; two nephews; five great-nieces; and four great-nephews.
Dee Dee was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Dale Miller; two brothers, John Banks and Ed Fordyce; and a nephew, Gage Fordyce.
Dee Dee worked as a waitress and bartender in the area for many years. She was kind and loving. Her family and friends meant everything to her.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial will be at a later date in Rice Cemetery.
Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart assisted with arrangements.
