ELKHART — Delmer H. Morris, 72, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born May 7, 1941, in Clay County, W.Va., to Frank and Sadie A. (Pritt) Morris.
On Sept. 24, 1966, he married the love of his life, Fran A. (Frampton) Morris, in Pearisburg, Va.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a sister, Betty Moore of Elkhart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and eight sisters.
Delmer was employed at Midwestern Rubber in Goshen for 23 years and later worked at Judd Drug Stores for nearly 10 years prior to his retirement.
He enjoyed collecting coins, bowling on various local bowling leagues and attending annual family picnics.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the noon funeral service Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Chester Gibson will officiate. Burial will follow at Little Pine Cemetery in Goshen.
