ELKHART -- Delma "De" Leta Peters, 60, died Thursday (July 9, 2009) at 10:50 a.m. at her home after an extended illness.

She was born Aug. 24, 1948, in Goodland, Kan., to Delmer and Arleta Mae (Jones) Musil. She married Roger L. Peters on Feb. 27, 1972, in Middlebury.

He survives, along with one daughter, Amber (Darrin) Tucker of Elkhart; one son, Aaron (Shannon) Peters of New Carlisle; her parents, of Goodland; one brother, Lawrence (Helen) Musil of Goodland; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, with services to follow at 7 p.m. Pastor Brian Whidden of Elkhart Calvary Assembly will officiate, with cremation to follow after services.

Mrs. Peters was a graduate of Goodland High School. She was employed by Design Group, where she worked as office manager for nine years. She enjoyed work, family and cruising in the Caribbean with her husband.
