Obituary
ELKHART — Della M. Kauss, 92, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully in her home following a lengthy illness at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, July 6.
She was born in Fountain, Mich., on Feb. 7, 1922, to the late George and Della (Swelnis) Romanosky.
Surviving are her son, Dale (Eileen) Clingerman of LaPorte; her youngest daughter, Sandra Elsasser of Elkhart; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husbands, Stanley Eldridge, Vernal Clingerman and Harold "Rusty" Kauss; her daughter, Sharron Eldridge; three brothers; and two sisters.
In accordance with the family's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private service for immediate family.
Arrangements have been placed under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.
Della worked for more than 25 years at CTS in Elkhart.
Memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association.
