ELKHART -- Debra Kay McQueary, 55, of Elkhart , died at 7 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 10, 2009) in Golden Living Center.

She was born Nov. 19, 1953, in Muskegon, Mich., to Kenneth and Shirley (Smith) DePree Sr. She married Frankie J. McQueary on Aug. 9, 2002, in Elkhart .

He survives, along with one daughter, Lorie Goorhouse of Elkhart ; four sons, Jerry Goorhouse Jr. of Benzonia, Mich., Frankie (Jamie) Ramirez of Elkhart , and Tony and Gage McQueary, both of Elkhart ; four grandchildren; her mother, Shirley DePree of Elkhart ; two brothers, Kenneth DePree Jr. of Indianapolis and Eugene DePree of Elkhart ; and two sisters, Cheryl (Mark) Smeltzer of Bristol and Cindy (Dave) Russell of Elkhart . She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth DePree Sr.; a brother, Charles DePree; and her sister, Brenda Bishop.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart , No service is planned. Cremation will follow.

Mrs. McQueary worked at Superior Seating in Elkhart prior to retiring due to her health. She had been an industrial sewer for nearly 30 years. She enjoyed games, music and time with her family.
