Debra L. Crissinger, 69, of Elkhart, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Elkhart General Hospital.

Debra, known as Debbie or Deb to her friends and family, was a 1973 graduate from Oak Glen High School, New Cumberland, WV, a 1978 graduate from West Liberty State College where she also went on to obtain her MA in music. She is survived by her life partner, Fred Thomson, of Elkhart and his children Katherine Dalin (Robert), James Thomson (Kimberly), Steven Thomson, and Andrew Thomson. She has one surviving brother, Jim (Jamie) Crissinger, his wife Sharon, 12 nieces and nephews, 15 grand nieces and nephews and 2 great grand nephews.

Deb was a down to earth person with a deep generosity of spirit. She loved music, and brought warmth and a song in her heart to all those who were blessed to know her

A small memorial service will be arranged in the Elkhart area in early 2025 and later a small interment service in West Virginia will see Debbie to her final rest.
