She was born Feb. 3, 1953, in Elkhart, Ind., to Lyndell and Joyce (Westlake) Myrick.

She is survived by a daughter, Ada D. Knopps of Cassopolis; two grandchildren; her mother, Joyce (Perry) Myrick-Tubbs of Elkhart; a brother, Howard (Kim) Myrick of Elkhart; a sister, Katie Jo Myrick of Elkhart; and her longtime companion, Jerry Raines of Cassopolis.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Myrick.

Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Pastor B.J. Bishop of Elkhart Church of God officiating. Cremation will follow.

Ms. Knopps was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for other people. She was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
