Deborah Leigh "Debbie" Bauer, 60, of Elkhart, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at her home surrounded by loving family. She was born on June 2, 1963, in Logansport, IN, to the late John W. "Bill" and Lois Mary (Brooks) Bauer.

Debbie survived by her loving daughters, Christina (James) Maloyed, Amanda Mary, Jennifer (Beau Donovan) Terry, and Amanda (Tommy) Leach; 13 beautiful grandchildren; beloved kitty cat, Romeo; and a loving host of extended family, friends, and acquaintances.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Steven T. "Steve" and Michael J. Bauer, and grandson, Jacob Aidan.

In accordance with Debbie's wishes, cremation has been chosen and a family directed celebration of life will be held at a later date. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart has been assisting the family with cremation arrangements.

Debbie spent most of her adult life helping care for her loving grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting where she would refurbish and repaint lawn statues, her favorite being trolls, and creating diamond art paintings. She also could be found watching her beloved internet personality, The NICHE Lady, and at one time, she loved to read a good book such as a mystery suspense or little romance novel. Debbie also was an avid Halloween fan, enjoying decorating her home with different knickknacks, especially witches.

Debbie will best be remembered as a loveable and kind soul who always made herself someone who was easy to talk to. She, along with all the love and joy she shared, will be dearly missed by those whose hearts she touched throughout her life.
