ELKHART — Dean G. Meyers, 59, of Elkhart, died at 11:20 p.m. Saturday (June 23, 2012) in Elkhart General Hospital after a sudden illness.
He was born Jan. 24, 1953, to Dean E. and Rose Mary (Long) Meyers, who survive in Elkhart. He married Melissa M. Johnson on Aug. 30, 1980, in Elkhart. She survives at home.
Also surviving are his daughters Angelina (Jon) Eberhardt, Deanna R. (Justin) Foster and Marina M. (Christopher Allen) Meyers, all of Elkhart; brothers William (Connie) and Don (Rebecca) Meyers of Elkhart; sisters Patricia Robinson of Elkhart and Sherry Meyers of Warsaw; and grandchildren Javin and Leah Eberhardt, Caden Foster and a granddaughter who is "on the way."
In accordance to the family's wishes, Dean has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at the North Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1921 Jeanwood Drive, at 4 p.m. July 7, 2012. Brother Ralph Miller will officiate.
Billings Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorial donations may be given to the North Kingdom Hall.
