Dayved A. Watts, 64, of Elkhart, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, at the Center for Hospice Care in Elkhart. He was born in Elkhart on February 26, 1959, to the late William Watts and Virginia (Imus) Watts, who survives him.

Dayved is also survived by his son, William "Austin" Hunter Watts; brothers, Tommy (Roxanne) Watts and William D. Watts; one niece and three nephews; and his faithful labrador companion, Lottie.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Prairie Street Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to the Watts family directly, to help alleviate funeral expenses.

Dayved, also known as "Whoaboy" by his close friends, was a kind and amazing soul. He was passionate about his beliefs and stood his ground whenever they were put into question. Dayved loved nature and was a true "Hippie" at heart. He loved animals as well, especially Lottie who would often follow him everywhere and go on rides with him in his pickup truck. Dayved enjoyed going to Rainbow Farms whenever he had the chance and would go there to catch up with his extended family. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.
