Dawn L. (Lobsiger) Miller, 79, of Elkhart, passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at her home. Dawn was born on September 13, 1943, in Sturgis, MI to the late Herman and Elaine (Greenman) Lobsiger.

Dawn is survived by her children, Kirk Miller and Mindi (Jeff Klapp) Hyatt; grandchildren, Zachary Miller, Nicholas Hyatt, and Cassady (Matt) Ladd; great-grandchildren, Molly Ladd and Avery Ladd; sisters, Brenda Morgan and Darien (Hunk) Feick; and cousins, Linda Greenman, Melody Culler, and Arla Johnson.

Dawn is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Ashworth; former husband, Tim Miller; and her parents, Herman and Elaine.

In accordance with Dawn's wishes, cremation has been chosen. Services for Dawn will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Billings Funeral Home with visitation from 1 to 3 PM. A memorial service will follow at 3 PM with Pastor Jeremy Sarber officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery in Lagrange, IN.

Dawn worked for Thorne Grodnik LLP as a legal secretary where she later retired after 35 years of service. She also worked for Hansel's Women's Shoe Store as a secondary job for many years.

In her spare time, Dawn enjoyed spending quality time with her family since they meant the world to her. She enjoyed visiting her grandchildren and getting to spend holidays with them at her house where her children would help her prepare unforgettable holiday meals in the kitchen. Dawn also enjoyed travelling to the Apple Festival in Kendallville along with the county fair each year. She also had a bit of a sweet tooth, most notably for homemade brownies and chocolate ice cream. Dawn could be found playing a game of Euchre with her girlfriends from time to time.

Dawn will be remembered as a sweet, kind, and caring person who was a mother figure to all. She was very independent and always well put together with a wonderful sense of fashion. Dawn will be dearly missed by all those whose hearts she touched throughout her life.
