ELKHART - Dawn Ressie Geier, 57, passed away at her home on the morning of December 29, 2018. Dawn was born in Elkhart on March 19, 1961. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Tom) Moo; mother Doris Jean Tidwell; 3 grandchildren, Nicholas Hammon, Kaylee (Tony) Hershberger, Breanna Crawford and 2 great grandchildren Lucas and Lexie; also surviving is her brother Michael (Renee) White and companion Thomas Shaffer; her sister Lisa Smithberg preceded her in death.

Dawn loved being around water and enjoyed fishing and swimming. She was a huge animal lover, especially cats, having 13 furry friends at one time or another.

A gather of family and friends will be held on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019 from 4 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart. Per her wishes, cremation was chosen.
