Obituary
ELKHART -- David Love Sr., 69, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, at Riverside Village in Elkhart after an extended illness.
He was born on May 25, 1942, in Clarksdale, Miss., to the late Ervin and Roberta (Townsend) Love.
Surviving are seven daughters, Katherine Brooks, Rose Williams, Demetria Lane, Michelle Taylor and Christine, Josie and Joyce Love; five sons, Ricky, Terry, Bill and David Love Jr. and Steve Taylor; four brothers, Henry, Stanley, James and Billy Love; six sisters, Luberta Love, Sadie Ott, Arnetta Sykes, Daisy Walker, Rosie Robertson and Lillie Nolan; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011, at Little Pine Cemetery on C.R. 19 S., Goshen. Rev. Sam Frison of Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Elkhart will officiate. Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart has been assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the United Cancer Services of Elkhart County or to St. Jude Children's Foundation.
