GOSHEN -- David Arthur Robinson, 64, of Goshen, passed away Thursday (March 3, 2011) at his home.
He was born Oct. 31, 1946, in Coshocton, Ohio, to the late Arthur B. and Donna (Brillhart) Robinson. On June 5, 1970, David married Carol L. McLaughlin in Carrollton, Ohio.
Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Carol L. Robinson of Goshen; son Michael A. Robinson of Sacramento, Calif; daughter Kristen (Donnie) Weatherholt; and his two grandchildren, Morgan Marie and Drake Ellis Weatherholt, at home. Also surviving are brothers Bruce Robinson of Canton, Ohio, and Greg Robinson of Macon, Ga.; sister Debra (Alan) Currie of Dublin, Ga.; one niece; and three nephews.
David worked in sales at the Skyline Corporation in Elkhart for 31 years. He was a 1964 graduate of Perry High School in Massillon, Ohio, and a 1968 graduate of Malone College in Canton with a degree in business and economics. He was a very active member of Dunlap United Methodist church and enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren.
Please join with his family and friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Friends may also call for one hour prior to the 11 a.m. Monday celebration service at Dunlap United Methodist Church, 23647 U.S. 33, Elkhart, IN 46517. The Rev. Joe Smith and the Rev. Jim Fookes will officiate.
Cremation will follow the services at the church.
