ELKHART — David Dean Rambadt, 65, of Elkhart, died Monday, July 31, 2017 at his home. He had been in failing health. David was born on April 15, 1952 in Kalamazoo, Mich. to the late Robert and Junette (Bailey) Rambadt. In addition to his parents, a son David and brother Robert Rambadt preceded him in death. Surviving are daughters, Shawnyll and Tonya, several grandchildren, brother Daniel Rambadt and his former spouse, Cheryl Rambadt. David was a graduate of Sullivan College in Louisville, Ky. with a degree in the culinary arts. He was a chef for many years. He was an U.S Army veteran during the Vietnam War. In honoring David's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home.
