ELKHART — David Wayne Phebus, 57, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, May 1.

David was born Jan. 8, 1960, in Elkhart, to Thomas Donald and Betty Lucille Phebus.

He is survived by his sister, Patricia Steuart of Elkhart, also aunts, uncles, nieces and good friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Arthur Edward Phebus.

David worked in shipping and receiving at Homecrest in Goshen for many years.

He liked watching baseball, especially the Cubs, Notre Dame sports, and enjoyed shopping and walking.

David's wishes were to be cremated.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
