David "Tow-motor Dave" Lee Jones, 68, of Osceola, began his eternal nap on December 25, 2020 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.

David was born on June 16, 1952 in South Bend to the late, William Jones and Emogene (Coffey) Jones. He married Marybeth (Rieck) Jones on June 18, 1977 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in South Bend.  David is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and his son Aaron David Jones.

David is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marybeth; children, Meredith Jones and Adam Horvath (Osceola) and Ashley (Jones) and Jeremy Day (Monterey); 8 siblings and his "granddoggers", Cujo, Eby-dog and Braggy boy.

David graduated from Penn High School. He went on to work as a truck driver (Wiltfong.) He was a welder for almost 10 years (Bridge and Iron) and a forklift driver for 30 years (Gunite.) He was a creative cook and liked his sweets. David and his twin Fern enjoyed NASCAR, Indy Racing, tractor pulls and playing horseshoes together. He was also a fervent follower of NASA launches. He embodied strength and beauty, for himself and others, transforming and adapting throughout in order to love as only he could. David will be sorely missed.
