Personal Remembrances

David’s siblings and those who knew him will always remember his infectious laughter and sense of humor, which brought joy to everyone around him. He had a deep love for music, following in the footsteps of his father, uncles, and brother. Many nights were spent jamming on his guitar and singing his favorite songs into the early morning hours. In addition to his love of music, David thoroughly enjoyed spending time on the water, fishing for hours at a time. He embraced life fully and shared his joy and kindness with all who knew him. David loved his family fiercely, and they, in turn, cherished him. Every time the songs "Goodnight Irene" and "Country Roads" are heard, his siblings will be reminded of his sweet voice and guitar playing. As they say goodbye to their "Rhinestone Cowboy," his family and friends look forward to meeting him again down the happy trail. David's kind spirit, zest for life, and ability to bring people together will be treasured forever.

David will be laid to rest on June 27, 2026, at St. Vincent's de Paul Catholic Cemetery in Elkhart, Indiana, where he will be near his beloved mother and father.
