ELKHART —  David Buckland, 59, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018.

He was born Oct. 18, 1958, to Robert and Frances Buckland in Elkhart.

He married Junita Salazar on June 24, 2002.

David worked at Bennington Boats up until the time of his demise.

He graduated from Elkhart Academy in 1978 and spent 14 years in the Army.

He bowled competitively nationwide.

He was a lifetime NRA Member and enjoyed Fantasy Football.

He loved spending time with friends and family.

He was devoted to his Wife, his children, and to his faith.

He is survived by his wife, Junita Buckland; children Kathrine, Patrick and Andrew; sisters Lola (Paul) Horvath and Betty Rogers; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for David will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 9, at Grace Bible Church, 1700 Edwardsburg Ave., Elkhart, IN 46514, with a viewing starting at 10 a.m.

Pastor Mike Fisher will officiate.

Arrangements are in the care of Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart.
