He was born Dec. 14, 1965, in Elkhart to James and Pamela (Hamilton) Shanholt.

He married Patricia Lambert on Aug. 1, 1986, in Elkhart.

She survives, along with a daughter, Cassandra (Toby) Caudill of Union, Mich.; five grandchildren; his father, James (Norma) Shanholt of Elkhart, and his mother, Pamela (Tom) Cass of Elkhart.

A son, Kenneth Lambert, and a brother, Kent Shanholt, preceded him in death.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ray Caudill officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Street Cemetery. The U.S. Navy Funeral Honors Detail will conduct graveside services.

Mr. Shanholt was a veteran of the Navy.
