Darren Edward Dugger, 52, of Middlebury, IN passed away after an extended illness on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at Elkhart General Hospital.
Darren was born in Elizabethton, TN on April 16, 1972 to Harvey Dugger of Butler, TN ,and Judith "Judy" Dawn (Sutterby) Beaudoin of Middlebury, IN.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Edward Dugger of Butler, Tn.
Darren is survived by son, Levi E. Dugger; mother, Judy Beaudoin; father, Harvey Dugger; siblings, Lance Beaudoin and Kenneth Beaudoin, both of Middlebury, IN and Rebecca "Becky" Dugger of Elkhart, IN; nieces, Kassandra Rae (Ryan) Crocker, Katlin Ranee Dugger Goeller both of Elkhart, IN and Angela Paige (Jordan) Webb of Odenville, Alabama; and several aunts, uncles, 6 great nieces and 2 great nephews.
Darren was a mechanic for most of his life. He could often be found in the garage tinkering with his automobile and truck projects. He was also an automobile painter and enjoyed fixing up and repairing old cars to sell to people who were in need. His engineering skills allowed him to fix anything. There was no problem that Darren couldn't figure out.
Darren enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He loved to share his knowledge with anyone who could use it. He also enjoyed watching movies and documentaries whenever he got a chance.
Darren stood up for what he felt was right and was always there for anyone that needed a helping hand or just a shoulder to lean on. He had a great sense of humor with an infectious laugh that was unforgettable.
There will be a private celebration of Darren's life at a later date. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the family.
