Obituary
ELKHART — Mrs. Darlene C. Schmoyer, 72, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at her home following an extended illness on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017.
She was born Jan. 11, 1945, to the late Daniel C. and Kathryn (Siegfried) Gates and later married Richard S. Schmoyer in Elkton, Maryland in 1965. He passed away in 1990 in PA.
Surviving are children Robin (Daniel) Eger, Lori (Jose) Reyes and Greg (Angela) Schmoyer; brother James (Julie) Gates; grandchildren Benjamin, Joshua, Samuel, Elizabeth, Eric, Sydney, Monica, Joseph, Anna, Nicholas, Andrew, Sophia and great-granddaughter Rose.
In accordance with her wishes, Darlene is to be cremated and buried in Hershey, Pennsylvania at a later date.
Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart is assisting with arrangements.
