ELKHART — Darci E. Long, 32, of Elkhart, passed away at 9:07 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, from injuries received in an automobile accident.
She was born in Elkhart on Aug. 10, 1983, to Timothy and Chari (Wagner) Long of Elkhart.
Surviving are her parents; children Brianna and Dylan Long and Timothy Costner, all at home; siblings Celia and Eddie Long, both of Elkhart; her significant other, Timothy Gibson of South Bend; special friend Sarah Newcomb of Elkhart; and nieces and nephews Desi, Davon, Kaitlyn, Kylee and KK.
Her grandparents preceded her in death.
Friends and family may gather Thursday, Oct. 1, at Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart, where a viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m.
Darci was a home remodeler for a South Bend property acquisition company. She was an avid camper, adventures and animal enthusiast and always loved to go somewhere or do something new. She will be best remembered for her love for her children and her ability to live life to the fullest.
Memorials may be given in Darci's memory to Chari Long, on behalf of the children.
