Danny L. Eisenbeiss, 83, of Bristol, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at his home. Danny was born on May 8, 1935 in Elkhart to the late Russell and Marion (Witt) Eisenbeiss. He married Mary Ann Weaver on May 26, 1956 in St. Joseph County. Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Mary Ann; daughter Brenda (Jeff) Mark; 6 grandchildren, Andrew and Justin Eisenbeiss, Leslie Nash, Matthew, Tyler and Nicholas Moore.

In addition to his parents, a son Stephen Eisenbeiss, and two sisters Mary Hamman and Carol Hobson preceded him in death.

Danny graduated from Elkhart High School; He married Mary Ann, and then served his country in the U.S Army from 1957 until his honorable discharge in 1959.

He retired after 27 years of service with the Selmer Company in 2002. Danny loved flying, and built and flew his own ultralight plane. He then began his love of building and flying R/C airplanes in the area, and was a member of the R/C modelers club Flight Masters of Elkhart Co.

Danny attended New Life Christian Center in Bristol for many years.

Visitation for family and friends of Danny will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. Elkhart. Funeral services will begin at 4:00 p.m.  with 1 hour of visitation prior to services on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Billings Funeral Home. Pastor Vance Stech will officiate. Burial will follow at North Union Cemetery on CR 42, Wakarusa

Military honors by the U.S. Army Funeral Honor Guard and DAV #19 will be rendered at the funeral home on Friday. The family kindly request memorial donations to the Salvation Army.
