Danny "Daniel" E. Masuth, 58, of Goshen, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital.

Daniel was born in Elkhart, IN on October 16, 1961 to Richard and Mary (Newcomer) Masuth.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Richard and Dean Masuth.

Daniel is survived by his sons, Daniel "Boone" (Abra)  Masuth of Bristol and Wesley (Stephanie)  May of Norfolk, VA; sister, Charlene Reames of Florida; 5 grandchildren, Rees, Serina, Austen, Graysen and Keanu; and several nieces and nephews.

Daniel was the owner of CJ's Tree Service. He enjoyed working on various things, being outdoors, camping on the lake and had a huge love for animals. Daniel's passion was working on trucks. In fact, he built 2 different monster trucks, and one of them you may have seen in many local parades, mud bogs and just parked around Elkhart County. Daniel always loved working on equipment and vehicles with his sons. Most of all, Daniel was a family man who would be ready to lend a helping hand.

There will be a celebration of life early in the summer of 2021 to honor Daniel's life. Per the family's wishes, cremation was chosen. Private interment will be at Rice Cemetery. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, IN 46514 is assisting the family.
