ELKHART — Daniel Gene "Danny" Staley, 47, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, following a tragic car accident.

Danny was born, in Elkhart, Oct. 5, 1970, to Lucinda Staley.

Surviving are his parents, Lucinda and Steven "Hank" Mamoran; two daughters, Brittaney (Matt) Quesinberry and Bridgette (Jake) Chambers, all of Elkhart; and five grandchildren, Ayla, Urijah, Jacson, Braelynn and Ryan.

He also leaves behind his loving fiancé, Carol Ornstedts of Union, Michigan.

Danny enjoyed fishing, hunting and exploring nature.

His biggest love of all was his Pittsburgh Steelers and Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart, 812 Baldwin St., will host a gathering of family and friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22.

Cremation has taken place.
