He was a hard worker and retired from Tom Naquin Chevrolet as a master mechanic after 38 years of service. He owned his own business, Dan's Vinyl Tops. He was an elder of his church for many years and he loved the people that he served. He spent years coaching baseball and softball and lead the Osceola Campfire Blue Jays and Adventure Boys. He participated in the Five-Star Program and was a foster parent.
Daniel was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who always kept Christ at the center of his life. He took great pride in all his family. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his wife and family. He was a fair, honest, and compassionate man who always took the time to listen to others. He never met a stranger and always had a twinkle in his eye. Daniel had a special kind of charisma and made everyone feel better for having spent time with him. He had a way of bringing people together to create a special type of magic. Always encouraging and always sacrificing. His sense of humor could light up any room with his favorite punchline being, "Do you wanna buy a duck!?" He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!" - 2 Corinthians 5:17
