Obituary

Daniel E. Spencer, 56, of Bristol, passed away, unexpectedly on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital.

Dan was born on January 8, 1964 in Elkhart to Earl and Jose Ann (Tressler) Spencer.

Dan met his loving wife, Stacey (Allen) Spencer in 1987 and married her on May 4, 2000 in Elkhart, IN.

Dan is survived by Stacey "Wife";  Matt "Boy" (Danyelle "Girl") Spencer of Bristol; sisters, Terri (Joe) Papke of White Pigeon, MI; Tam Spencer of Ft. Gratiot, MI; Cari (Brian) Keller of Lewisville, TX; mother-in-law, Virginia Allen of Osceola, IN; and "those dogs", his four legged son, Logan, and grand dog, River.

Dan graduated from Constantine High School in Michigan. He was an automotive technician with Masten's Goodyear for over 20 years and most recently Auto Village in Elkhart. Dan enjoyed listening to all kinds of music (especially classic rock).  He liked classic cars, spending time watching the Weather Channel and music videos.  He was a longtime fan of NASCAR and the Detroit Tigers. His sanctuary was being outdoors, whether he was sitting on his deck watching the birds or working in his yard.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
