He was born Oct. 12, 1922, in Bloomington, Ill., to Henry Otto and Effie Bell (Harrison) Barclay. On May 3, 1964, in Palos Park, Ill., he married Betty Theobald.

She survives.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, where friends may gather starting at 10:30 a.m. Monday. There will be a procession from the funeral home to Little Pine Cemetery, Goshen, for an 11 a.m. graveside service. Vernon Hargrove will officiate.
