Cristina L. "Cristy" Bails, 55, of Mishawaka, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Goshen Hospital. She was born on February 28, 1967, in Elkhart to the late Jerry L. Bloxson and the late Judith F. (Gibson) Bloxson.

Cristy is survived by her loving husband, Charles "Charlie" D. Bails; son, Braden Bails; daughter, Breanna Bails; and three grandchildren, Avaya, Liam, and Zane. Cristy is preceded in death by her parents.

As per Cristy's wishes, cremation has been chosen. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St, Elkhart is assisting the family with arrangements. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Cristy worked for Communicare and helped recruit healthcare providers for nursing homes. In her free time, she could be found at the gym as she loved a good workout. She was known to partake in many triathlons and Iron Man marathons, showing her passion for staying fit and working out. Cristy also loved being out in the sunshine at the beach. Cristy and Charlie frequently took boat rides together and enjoyed sharing those memories with their family, especially their grandchildren. When the pair were not out on their boat, they enjoyed taking vacations to Jamaica where they could adore the beach and sunshine there. Cristy will be greatly missed by her loving family and many friends.
